War Memorial
On 11th November 2010 the War Memorial was rededicated, following the installation of new panels engraved with the names of the Fallen. The panels were necessary because the original names were eroding and would soon become illegible.
Mr. Peter Baker of the British Legion oversaw the renovation project and was present, with many other of his colleagues, when the Rev. Stuart Mitchell carried out the rededication service. Amid a cold, wet, and windy morning the annual Remembrance Day two minute silence was observed by the 25 people present.
In due course we will include a history of the memorial, which is a listed structure, and the details of all those named on it.
